You start the game with a set amount of money (20000 gold) with which you must buy a "Dinoz" from the Dinoz Shop (see screenshot 02). The range of Dinoz available varies with different races such as Softpig, Glidwings, Cloudoz, Winks, Wanwans and others. Each race has its own strengths relating to the elements Fire, Wood, Water, Lightning and Air.
Once you have bought a Dinoz you will be able to use it with options such as Move, Fight and Rest. You can choose to move to different locations on the map (see screenshot 01), or you can choose to fight a monster and earn xp and gold. When you level up your Dinoz will earn a new ability based on one of the elements, with your Dinoz main elements having a higher chance of gaining an extra point.
In the beginning of the game you will receive a few items such as Madam Irma's Potion which will allow you to make an extra move without waiting for the timer, or Burgers to keep your Dinoz HP above 0. You can also buy more from the Shop if you need them. I advise that you do not buy any extra potions but instead save your Gold to buy another Dinoz. More Dinoz = More fights per turn = More Gold.
Advantages:
- Animated Battles. Allows you to watch your Dinoz fight against the enemy.
- Design Simplicity. The design of the site makes it easy to navigate and find your way around the game and the available options.
- Multi-lingual. They offer the game in multiple different languages; French, English/American, German and Spanish.
- Missions. You can visit Grandpa Joe to accept missions for extra bonuses such as XP or Gold. These will involve visiting different locations and sometimes fighting specific enemies.
- Registration. It's simple and easy to register on the game, all you need is a username, password and email address and you're ready to go.
- Variations. The selection of Dinoz available to buy changes every day, giving you the chance to play with different races of Dinoz instead of being stuck with the same one from the beginning.
Disadvantages:
- Patience. This game becomes very slow very quickly, at least in the beginning. When you run out of Madam Irma Potions you will find yourself waiting 2 hours for your next turn, and then 3 hours, 4 hours, and slowly increasing with the more turns you have. You will need to be patient if you wish to save enough money for more Dinoz. You can buy extra potions but you will use them quicker than you can earn Gold to buy them. Although there is an option to get more Gold if you are willing to spend some real money. (5 Euros for 30000 Gold).
