This is a simple but addictive game to play. You start by choosing your User profile, which allows others to use their own profile for the game and play without going through all your levels before you do. There are many levels to play through to give you hours of game time, each Stage (there are 10) is set in a different airport so you're not stuck in the same place throughout the whole game. The aim of each level is to earn a certain amount of money, gained by successfully controlling your planes, (see Image 03 above) you will earn a different amount for different planes, and for how quick you get them to the required place. You can also earn bonus money by getting combinations of the same colored planes on the same colored gates, etc.
In later levels you will get more different planes and new colored planes, along with airport upgrades such as a new runway, faster passenger gates and radars that tell you what color plane to expect next. Other extras in the game include Awards and Medals that you can win for completing certain tasks, such as landing a plane with a donor organ or fixing a certain number of planes, or even for buying a new plane.
Advantages:
- Simple. Easy to understand what you have to do.
- Design. The graphics and design of the game are cartoon-ish and nice to look at, and don't burn your computers' graphics card.
- Addictive. This is one of those games where you might think 'just one more level' and you spend hours playing it.
- Level System. A map of Stages and levels (see Image 02 above), lets you choose where you want to go next, you don't have to go to the hardest level available.
- System Requirements. Uses 34 MB hard drive space and 256 MB memory.
- 'Spare Time' Game. One of those games you might play for 5-10 minutes when you're bored or waiting for something.
Disadvantages:
- Resolution. The game loads in 800x600 resolution only.
- Repetitive. Besides upgrades, new planes, and new levels, the basic control of the game becomes repetitive after the first 10+ levels, and you're doing more or less the same thing each time.
